We are often asked for "ballpark" pricing on ComfortDisc. There is a minimum amount of equipment needed for each size system. The final price will vary depending on the heat source chosen and the routing of ducts, the number of zones etc. We zone up to six zones per ComfortDisc.

There are many components that make up a complete system. These can be broken down into the following headings:

Return Air Components - Return Grill, Filter, Adapter and Return Air Base.

ComfortDisc Modules - Supply Fan Module, hot water/chilled water coil module, heat pump coil module, HRV core module, HRV Fan module, PLC control panel.

Supply air Ducting - Sheet Metal, Insulation Sleeve, Elbows, Tees, Reducers, Flex Duct & Extensions.

Zoning and Controls - Zone Control Panels, Thermostats, Zone Dampers.

Heat Sources - Boilers, Heat Pumps or Chillers.

Heat Pumps - Daikin Altherma or Daikin ERQ Series.

Accessories - Heat Recovery (HRV), Air Purification System.

A comprehensive heat load calculation needs to be completed on every building to ascertain the heating and cooling requirements. The heat requirement will vary substantially depending on the air tightness of the building. Only then can the correct system be selected for your building.
