Solar thermal storage is a growing area of heating storage to store hot water for later use to heat a building with a ComfortDisc.  

Using an array of solar panels, a buffer or storage tank is heated, when heating is required, water is sent from the storage tank to the ComfortDisc hot water coil.  The heat is extracted from the water to warm air passing over the hot water coil in the ComfortDisc hot water module.
