Colfix, needed to retrofit air conditioning to eight offices on the 1st floor. Turning to the expertise of EJ Fidgeon who recommended the small duct high velocity systems as the ideal solution. The small duct high velocity systems offers draught free air flow, even temperatures from floor to ceiling, air filtration and fresh air. As the system is fast and easy to fit, it was fitted during normal working hours with no disruption to the office operations. With each of the eight offices having individual time and temperature control, each person can adjust their temperature to their own comfort level. With employee comfort being most important at Colfix, the staff are delighted with how comfortable the offices are. A modulating inverter driven single phase heat pump supplies the air conditioning, Aprilaire thermostats and a zone control system are used throughout. The outlets blend in with the ceiling. No structural or ceiling changes were needed for the installation.
