When O’Hara’s Solicitors asked their Architect Robert Nanassi about air conditioning their new offices, Robert suggested small duct high velocity systems. Having used the small duct high velocity system on previous projects, Robert knew all the benefits — efficient operation, low energy costs, no draughts or breezes and quiet operation. Since moving into the new purpose built premises, O’Hara’s Solicitors have been delighted with the comfort from the system. The building is heated and air conditioned by two inverter driven heat pumps, one per floor. The ground floor has six zones and the 1st floor has four zones. Fresh air is brought into each unit through the small duct high velocity system mixing box. Each solicitor’s office, meeting rooms and the reception have individual time and temperature control for maximum comfort.
